The Story
Sunny Boy had been hanging out on the Brooklyn College campus last winter and was rescued by one of our volunteers. He was obviously someone’s pet and is definitely not feral because he was not doing well on his own and is super friendly--he loves to curl up on your lap and purr and will rest his head on his cage door to encourage people to give him attention. Sunny Boy needs to take two inexpensive pills each day to prevent him from having seizures, but he's such a good fella, he comes right over to you to take it, something we'd never seen in a cat before. (He still occasionally has seizures but they're very mild.) We think this handsome boy would do best in a quiet home without children or other pets as he has a sensitive spot on his lower spine that causes him pain, probably due to an injury (he may have been hit by a car or someone could’ve have kicked him.) When you adopt a cat like Sunny Boy who's been through so much, you'll be rewarded with much love, devotion and gratitude.
