For $25 a month you can sponsor a dog or cat at the BARC Shelter. Your monthly donation helps us to provide continuing care to your sponsored animal. We encourage you to drop by the shelter during adoption hours to visit with your chosen animal!
To sponsor a BARC animal please call (718)486-7489 during our standard hour, Tues-Sat, 11AM-6PM (or leave a message after hours) to set up your monthly credit/debit card donation.

Just wanted to give an update on the love of our lives: Candy. My best friend and I adopted Candy from BARC in September of 2007. Since then, Candy has charmed the pants off our entire neighborhood, all of our friends, family members, strangers, construction workers – basically anyone who has a heart has fallen in love with this dog.
