There are stray cats in our yard. Can BARC find them homes?

It's estimated that there are over 100,000 street cats in NYC. There is nowhere near enough homes or shelters for them all. Instead, we promote trap/neuter/release (TNR) programs. To learn how you can help, please visit the ASPCA website - http://www.aspca.org/aspca-nyc/animal-rescuers/trap-neuter-return.html

How much does it cost to adopt an animal from BARC?

It costs you a one-time fee of $150 to adopt an animal from BARC. You can learn more about the adoption process by visiting our How Adoption Works page.

How do I get my adopted pet spayed or neutered?

All of the animals at BARC are spayed and neutered before being put up for adoption, so you don't have to worry your new friend contributing to overpopulation.
