Spring has sprung (sort of) and BARC Shelter has commited to rescue from Texas once again!
In honor of Tony we have made our BIGGEST rescue yet and we need YOUR help to help these animals.
35 puppies and 16 cats drove 1,713 miles across country to the big apple! It costs our rescue $100 per animal to be driven to us making our cost before they even arrive around $5,000! Please consider donating to their freedom rides so we can also give them quality medical care once they arrive!
PUPDATE 04/17: We have just covered our transportation costs thanks to all of you! Now we need to pay off our ever growing vet bills! We need close to $10,000 just in veterinary costs! From spay and neutering services, to dental work, to hernia repairs we need you;
THEY NEED YOU!
WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Please come out and support us! When you purchase a $17 ticket - $5 goes right back to us and our animals.
Staten Island Yankees VS. Brooklyn Cyclones!
The best part about this Dog Days of Summer event is that YOU CAN BRING YOUR DOG!
We ask that all dogs have age appropriate vaccines, NO flexi leads, and are comfortable being around dogs/people/children/loud noises/crowded areas.
Everyone who supports BARC will be able to sit together with our pets, Kids ages 12 & under can run the bases at the end of the game, and there will be a $4 meal deal available which includes a hot dog, 12 oz. soft drink and bag of chips. For more information please see our events page or go right to the Staten Island Yankees website!

REMINDER TO ALL DOGWALKING VOLUNTEERS:
Effective September 5, 2017
Our volunteer program is under revision and review. Moving forward, we are ONLY accepting volunteers who have volunteered with us the past year, and we are also implementing an orientation day for all future volunteers to attend to before they can volunteer. Sorry for the inconvenience, but we are looking for commited volunteers that can donate proper time. We will no longer accept walk-in volunteers. Also our Corporate group community project rules have changed, please follow the link for our new rules.
