Dog Days of Summer
With summer fast approaching we have decided to do another large southern state rescue!
This will be a dog only rescue and the largest one we have done. Close to 40 dogs/puppies will take a 30 hour journey to get to the Big Apple. We expect the dogs to be in by the end of June but the timeline is subject to change.
It will cost the rescue close to $5,000 just for the transportation!
If you donate a minimum of $100 you can name 1 (one) dog after yourself or a name of your choosing. Each dog will be allowed 2 names, one girl name and one boy name, as we do not know the genders. For example we can have a John Michelle or a Michelle John, it's a little weird and a whole lot of unique! If you donate a minimum of $200 you can choose the whole name. If you decide to choose a name you must include your contact name and an email to connect with you on this platform. You cannot be anonymous on this platform if you want to name an animal, if you would like to call in your donation that is also fine.
Please help these animals in need!
BARC Shelter and the Staten Island Yankees have teamed up for a BARC Baseball Day/Fundraiser!
Please come out and support us! When you purchase a $17 ticket - $5 goes right back to us and our animals.
Staten Island Yankees VS. Brooklyn Cyclones!
The best part about this Dog Days of Summer event is that YOU CAN BRING YOUR DOG!
If we sell 50 tickets we get to throw the first pitch
If we sell 100 tickets we get a large check presented to us on the field
If we sell 150 tickets we will get our own marketing table on the concourse to answer any adoption questions, and maybe even bring a pup or two!
Everyone who supports BARC will be able to sit together with our pets, Kids ages 12 & under can run the bases at the end of the game, and there will be a $4 meal deal available which includes a hot dog, 12 oz. soft drink and bag of chips. For more information please see our events page or go right to the Staten Island Yankees website!
Please click, here, to purchase your families tickets!
We ask that all dogs have age appropriate vaccines, NO flexi leads, and are comfortable being around dogs/people/children/loud noises/crowded areas.
WE WILL NOT BE BOOKING GROUPS UNTIL MID JULY 2018
REMINDER TO ALL DOGWALKING VOLUNTEERS:
